We started our morning off at Fig Tree Cafe, a cozy breakfast place with amazingly large portion sizes. Located in one of the emerging neighborhoods in San Diego, Hillcrest is home to some of the best breakfasts and cafes in the city. I ordered the Tuscan eggs benedict, covered in sundered tomatoes, basil, spinach, and with a recommendation I added prosciutto (which was amazing btw).
After we headed over to the Hillcrest farmers market a few streets over, where dozens of local vendors lined up and down the neighborhood streets. I managed to snap a couple pictures of the amazing produce selection and refreshing drinks they had, not to mention the many samples we ate! Heres a link to the different locations of the farmers markets and there's one almost everyday so I definitely recommend stopping by one if you're ever in San Diego!
